During the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Canal Sugar celebrated through a partnership with Baheya Foundation – مؤسسة بهية. Yesterday we put pen to paper for a long-term partnership program with Baheya that will focus on awareness and early detection of breast cancer for female employees and wives of employees, then in the areas surrounding communities of our site in Minya and Malawy. This comes as a part of the ongoing efforts at Canal Sugar to ensure diversity and equality in the company while also trying to make a good impact in our community. The event took place at Baheya Hospital in Sheikh Zayed with the attendance of Dr. Jilan Ahmed-CEO Baheya, Mrs Lamiaa Naama – Director Business Development, Fatma Helmy- Lead business development and from Canal Sugar: Dr. Kamel Abdallah – Managing Director & CEO,, Eng. Mohamed Adly – Chief Strategy & People Officer, Ms. Ola Loutfi – Head of Communication & External Affairs & Mr. Yasser Said – HSE Director.
