Ola Loutfi
Head of External Affairs and Communications at Canal Sugar
Ola joined Canal Sugar in Feb 2023 as the Head of External Affairs & Communication.
Before that date and during the Covid period, she established 2 private businesses for her family; both are related to dogs (The Dog Café ) and dog food ( Real Food).
From 2012-2021, Ola was the Regional Corporate & Government
Affairs Director(Africa, Middle East & Pakistan) at Mondelez International, whereby
she was responsible for all Strategic Governmental Affairs, Crisis Management,
External & Internal Communications, Media Relations, Brand and Corporate Social
Responsibility in these regions.
2010-2012, Ola joined GB Auto as Head of Corporate Communications & CSR
2000 -2010 Ola worked in Vodafone Egypt in different positions starting with Events & Sponsorships, Media Relations & Internal Communications; then she gained 2 Diplomas in Brand Management from Vodafone Brand Academy Ireland. After that, Ola started working on special projects such as Security Awareness Communication, whereby she developed a special program for the UK and for Egypt.
Ola is a graduate of the German School in Cairo and the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, Helwan University, with a major in guidance. She worked for 12 years as a tourist guide for German, English, and French-speaking groups before she decided to switch to the Corporate Career.
