Chief Audit Executive at Canal Sugar
Ayman joined Canal Sugar in August 2020 as Risk Management Project Director. In Feb 2023, he became the Chief Audit Executive for Canal Sugar.
Ayman is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in operations, assurance, advisory, and risk management. He started his career with a big four company, which provided him with wide exposure to different-sized organizations serving different industries.
Before joining Canal Sugar, Ayman established and led the Advisory and Internal Audit division within his family practice and served governmental clients in Dubai and Sharjah in Risk Management and Internal Audit.
Before 2018, Ayman successfully established, incubated, and led enterprise risk management and internal audit department in local and Federal Government entities in the United Arab Emirates.
Ayman continues to serve as a member of the Executive Board Committee of the UAE Internal Auditors Association and a member of the Advocacy Committee of the IIA Global headquartered in Lake Mary, Florida since 2014.
Ayman obtained his MBA from the University of Wollongong and his bachelor’s degree from the American University in Cairo.
