Seif El Seddik

Information Technology Director

Seif El Seddik has been the Information Technology Director in Canal Sugar since June 2022. In this role, Seif leads and oversees Canal Sugar’s IT functions across all business units. He focuses on delivering and supporting IT capabilities that improve business processes, enable departments to connect and collaborate more easily, collect and mine data for analytical insights, and enhance performance across all aspects of Canal Sugar’s value chain.

He is responsible for enhancing and evaluating all technology operations according to the company’s policies and security system to achieve a stable, secure, and robust IT infrastructure.

Seif has over 18 years of work experience across the Middle East and Africa in IT, project management, strategic management of information technology, and digital transformation. Throughout his tenure, he held different roles including Head of Business Solutions at Gulf Drilling International, IT Manager at United Development Company, and most recently he was a General Manager at Catalyst Business Solutions Company.

Born in 1980. Seif holds a BSC In Commerce & Business Administration, English Section – Helwan University, and an MBA from Manchester Business School majoring in information systems and internet security.
