Supply Chain Director

Emad has been the Supply Chain Director in Canal Sugar since August 2022. In this role Emad directs the company’s overall supply chain management strategies. This includes defining, developing, and implementing comprehensive strategies for all aspects of the company’s supply chain to reduce costs, mitigate risk, improve quality, shorten lead times, and reduce inventories.

Emad is responsible for the smooth running of the procurement process in the company, from processing to packaging and ensuring we continue to meet the needs of our customers. Additionally, Emad oversees the supply chain together with safety, quality, compliance and launch performance of the supply base through the company’s System Analysis Program.

Emad has an extensive knowledge of planning, logistics, customer service and warehousing. With over 20 years of worldwide experience in leadership positions in the supply chain field. Starting as a Warehouse Manager in Leoni Wiring Systems. Then a Supply Chain Manager in Schneider Electric KSA. After which, he became a Purchasing Manager at Nestlé Water. Subsequently, he assumed the Supply Chain Director at Lactalis International KSA, and lastly, he served as Head of Contract Logistics and Supply Chain Management at DB Schenker Egypt.

Born in 1978. Emad Holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Ain Shams University. He took a certified Six Sigma Green belt training from Symbios & Process Excellence Academy UK. (Warehouse Issues & Stock Accuracy in Birmingham)
